Once upon a time in 1999, the charity arm of the company was born. Inspired by playwright Indi Allen, who had the vision to support as many people living with cancer, to live fuller lives by raising vital funds for the work of cancer charities. We help people develop their skills and give them the arena to develop their creative abilities. Indi set about writing, directing and producing the first production. Productions that would bring the whole family to the theatre to enjoy an evening of comedy laughter and fun, as well as getting a few social messages woven into the plotline.
The charity arm of the company has raised thousands of pounds for Macmillan Cancer support. The charity arm also raises funds and support for support to African projects for children orphaned by HIV.
In the future we aim to develop a stronger campaign to support healthier, stronger communities by campaigns to support health care:
The Live Five Campaign
Increasing cancer awareness
International development projects
Acclaimed at several drama festivals, the charity arm of the company have scooped several awards, from best costume, best director, best technical ability award and most innovative product. This has established the wide appeal, professional standard and continuous development of the charity productions.
